Asian and World Championships medal holder Shiva Thapa started off well by beating his tough competitor from Pakistan Suleman Baloch at light weight category (60-63.5 kg) at Common Wealth Games.
The young boxer from India Shiva Thapa simply appeared unbeatable with quick duck and flashing knock out that shows his confident winning form.
Assam girl Lovlina Borgohain also contributed well by making nation proud with cruise in the second round at Common Wealth Games.
