Russia – Ukraine war has marked crisis in newsprint importation due to escalating price tag from Rs 63 to possible Rs.80 per kg as 60% of the raw materials are purchased by India from Russia whereas there was previous blow from corona.
Escalation in Import newsprint print price have lead to surge in price of locally made papers as B grade papers of Rs 58 per kg escalating to 77 per kg.
