It is a big change in Assam policing system where citizens do not have to wait for police verification reports on accident related cases, jobs, passport and others as a commitment towards the welfare of the society by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
At the second conference of superintendents of police Assam Chief Minister declared to make state Police futuristically more of citizen centric policing.
