Guwahati International Film Festival 2018 which went off in 25^th October is estimated as the only hope for nourishing international ties and promoting best not only Assam state but also the entire Northeast culture to the world.

There had been many noted personalities from the film world who had graced the land at eastern corner of India by opening their valuable insight on how best films can be delivered to help edge with award winning films.

Films from Assam have raised lots of curiosity on its interesting and credible aspects.  Partha Hazarika has fetched the prestigious The Jury’s Special Mention Award for the role in ‘Kaneen- A Secret Search’s and made Assam proud.

Delegates from Singapore felt that the GIFF occasion had helped him to open his perspective about Northeast and its beauty, hoping direct air network will definitely help bridge the relationship between the two nations, bring more opportunity to explore Guwahati.
