Manipur COVID Affected Livelihood Scheme A Big Measure

 Serious turn of fatality rates in Manipur due to COVID pandemic the Chief Minister’s COVID-19 Affected Livelihood Support Scheme was a big measure initiated by the N Biren Sing government to which the state cabinet consented.

 Chief Minister N Biren Singh under the COVID Livelihood Scheme proposed to grant Rs. 5000 in two equal installments to the affected families whose source of earning came to stall.

As economic dislocation this scheme was introduced to counteract pandemic situation by the Biren Singh’s government. This scheme run under the State Social Welfare Department will bestow Rs. 5000 credit to only one beneficiary per family. Apart from money to two lakh individuals even employment support will be granted to help the affected families to help them run homes.
