It is not this year’s issue but year’s back problem where national highways of Assam are poorly maintained due to which economic and safe travelling stress has grown to serious level.
The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has much sidelined toll gate NH road that holds vital business network in all parts of Assam including Northeast.
Highways connecting from Khanapara, Guwahati to Sonapur and Ninth Mile remains to be the busiest area shockingly in drastic condition which pot holes could be a small swimming pools for kids. At times public have to manually guard travelers from such life threatening potholes in some of the busiest highways of Assam.
