Ministry of Commerce and Industries, Tripura government expressed to use its potential resources of bamboo stuffs without importing to which the Centre has amended the previous policy by imposing restrictions to bamboo sticks importation for Tripura state particularly since it is the biggest producer of it in entire India.
Today Trpura bamboo sticks are highly imported by numerous states of India to intensify incense or Agarbati stick market. As per to the 2015-20 assigned trade policy the central government has kept similar products or incensed stick under free import to attract China and Vietnam clients but now this restriction is uplifted from Tripura state only which is definitely a good news to the region.
