Assam tea industry has never had underwent such setback due to which Industries and Commerce Minister Chandra Mohan Patowary had to held a meet with stakeholders to find out solution to retain the growth of the tea economy where influential groups of this industry like Northeastern Tea Association, Indian Tea Association, Bharatiya Cha Parishad and many others intrigued for new business hope.
Issues like quality control, private sale of tea and export target have been found to be not well emphasized properly due to which Assam tea demand in global market has become a question and that could impact state’s economy in the future
