Northeast farmers who had undergone the ravages of flood phase and other natural calamities this year the Centre adds good news to insure their damaged crops and open up a pension benefit to tagged farmers under Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana Crop Insurance (PMFBY) and Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maadhan Yojaona (PMKMY).
Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana Crop Insurance (PMFBY) to be introduced to support especially those farmers who had underwent crop loss due various natural calamities. So that under the registration of insurance the farmers can revive their losses from the damaged crops to continue for fresh cultivation. There is effort going on to implement Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maadhan Yojaona (PMKMY) pension scheme for farmers under the support of Life Insurance Corporation.
