In entire Northeast the highest literary rate is allocated to Manipur with 75% to its credit but in comparison to this success attempt the jobs rate are limited where passed out candidate have to wait long to get engaged in jobs for proper livelihood and due to which the state government has to emphasize on vocational courses.
The Ministry of Human Resource and Development had notified to include vocational courses as mandatory subjects after metric standard during the release of 2017 circular. But the government is facing hurdle from financial and bank sectors in providing loans to the students as they are not convinced whether they could return their money after the completion of their courses.
