Shillong, Meghalaya To Edge Aviation With More Precision On Its Landing Process


Meghalaya state is placed far above from the sea level from the favorable plains of neighboring state of Assam and receives much challenges in landing process due to which call was made to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation by the state High court to solution the challenges for convenient flight services in the region. 


To understand the strategy of landing challenges to smooth the process of air services and encourage more flight activities the Meghalaya High Court called in the Directorate General of Civil Aviation. Presently it is clueless as to why Mizoram is losing flight operators’ cooperation. May be Mizoram’s pathetic flight services have impelled the Meghalaya government to research on landing challenges.


So that state aviation’s mission to launch turbojets remain successful for which the state’s High Court allowed permit after a detailed session with regulatory body.


Exceed in expenditure to mount with more precision in state aviation’s landing process with estimated cost figure of Rs. 8000 crore as put forward by the DGCA to eradicate obstacles by cutting hillocks near to runaway areas and landing course to invite futuristic bigger flights.
