In the mega Assam flood operation the joint force NDRF and SDRF made an incredible effort by securing 848 lives stranded in pool of water within 24 hours time frame apart from making arrangements for shelters and food for survival.
Situation demands more camps to intensify rescue of lives posing threat from drowning as travel to long distance base shortens the numbers of rescue figures. But then it depends how many rising surfaces are availed in the sea of water situation in flooded areas.
According to the Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal he is personally involved to watch that the flood control rooms remains 24 hours activated for swift rescue operation in the entire state though on the other hand is keeping the center updated on the flood situation of Assam.
