Public Demands Transparency On Assam Flood Department’s Fund Implementation!

Today the public of Assam have changed and demands the Assam Department’s fund usage transparency as it is only the way to understand how they are performing on rescue front, though Sonowal government declares full financial support.

Guwahati residents who are undergoing terrible water logging phase due to unpredictable monsoon condition at present scenario demanded, “If the government and flood department of Assam are financially supported by the Centre then where is the input action in immediate rescue of days stranded flood affected people, not in the inter city but in the entire state. There should be a launch of public display as to whom the money of fund had been allotted and their ways of implementation, if founded guilty of inappropriate use then should be punished.”

“Incessant rain and swelling rivers are natural courses of nature, against which none can go but where humanitarian act is concerned to protect women and child from human trafficker it is in the hand of state rescue team and other welfare groups. Meeting out immediate medical aid and restoration of lives could be counted on human hand if people are brought to combat this alarming state level issue. It can only be expected with pro-active humanitarian action not simply by fund also,” Nabaratna Saikia a senior citizen expressed.
