NRC (National Register On Citizenship) finalization of transparent drafting of illegal residence in Assam state could not be justified on set hour decision as processed by the Supreme Court of India for faster verification accuracy as against the complaint registered to the issue of the last draft by those excluded from the final list.
Media on to an extent have been helpful in keeping a tap on stories of inappropriate detention by the NRC officials where in the “Right Activists Teesta Setalvad” has become Assam’s voice to intensify transparency in the functioning of foreigners’ tribunals (FT).
Mumbai based NGO group Citizens For Justice And Peace’s mission “Right Activists Teesta Setalvad” emphasized FTs quasie judicial bodies to be more judicious to the appeal of suspected foreigners’ for proper validation of documents before detaining people of Assam who had been black listed in the last NRC draft. People from all districts have stories to produce that even after having valid ground how they are unfairly targeted for no fault of theirs by NRC investigation group.
