It is time that not only Cyber Investigators should remain involved in controlling virtual crime but now general public and parents can play a pivotal role in it as Centre has empowered any internet users to act against anti-social elements in our system under Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre Scheme or 14C Scheme.
This 14C Cyber Crime Coordination Scheme was launched early this year in Feb 2019 but has become effective now where public can follow up cyber crime guideline and can approach to the responsible authority for assistance to combat crime.
New 14C Cyber Crime Coordination Scheme by Central government empowers internet users with handy information stuff relating to flagging of unlawful/inappropriate content plus child pron stuff (to educate children on cyber vulnerability). The center on to an extra level has initiated a chapter on cybercrime in school curriculum for child’s self help purpose to combat against situation instantly.
