Marking a major generous move to spread hope for better livelihood of greater unemployed population of ONGC’s Assam Asset theme based seventy days training event on skill development programme on various resources like water hyacinth, bamboo including cane materials under NEDF (North East Development Forum) was initiated in Sivasagar district at Zoon Nagar area of Bhatiapar.
Numerous artisans and entrepreneurs who had participated in the event were emphasized to think and do something beyond one’s thought and mental limit by grabbing opportunities from such training events to grab international market if one has the confidence and to trade into it with enough resources to meet production deadline.
Secretary of NEDF, Priyam Hazarika is quite optimistic that if people train themselves into water hyacinth fiber creation with edge of bamboo and cane materials could dare to attract more foreign investors to buy their products.
NEDF is designed to train various creative skills as per to international standards so that the trained people can have access to a market ready with buyers of their products. NEDF, Secretary was extremely grateful to ONGC to have come with such welfare plan under which unemployed can get trained in such skills that helps them to have a proper livelihood after the completion of the training.
