Erect of 60 women centric poll stations have been proposed to meet this election’s potential criteria for major voters participation in Tripura at its two Lok Sabha based constituencies according to the Election Commission’s (EC) top official.
To empower women participation in this year’s poll the government under Election Commission will deploy enough strength of women security personnel with all other secure intensive measures.
According to the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Sriram Taranikanti there are about 12,85,618 authentic women voters where in each constituencies be it Tripura East or West each will have one all-women centric polling station.
