Mizoram Authority Gears Up For Tough Strategy To Root Out Toxic Usage To Improve Its Eco-system

Mizoram authority determines to root out toxic waste born out of harmful plastic material which is not easily consumable neither soluble and dissolves easily with nature when dumped out, posing threat to Aizwal city with growing garbage problem. Toxic from plastic waste is not only harmful to our eco-system but a menace to our livelihood as it is not soluble.


Major northeastern states are affected by the growing threat of waste especially the plastic waste as stray animals could consume it and die. It is with effort of  the Aizawl Municipal Corporation(AMC) this welfare plan for the society has been set on 1st April and ensure that Mizoram’s capital city stays to its commitment to its mission of making it a plastic free city by 2019 September end.
