Assam Police Border wing is latest to be equipped with alternative performance electronic gadgets that are more cost effective than the extremely expensive hi-tech Biometric sensor for identification of suspected trespasser beyond the Bangladesh boundary.
Initially highly expensive biometric device of extreme edge technology was planned to equip the border security to help capture for fingerprint identification with proper latitude and longitude facts about any cross border suspect. But now the Border police has changed plans with alternative cost effective similar performance electronic gadgets like the customized tablets for registration of identity with fingerprint and GPS signal features for tracking individual’s valid details on location.
The Border police is currently is equipped with 39 such identification device for cross border immigration regulation where this multiple featured electronic gadgets will help to generate instantly the collected data to the central server based at Guwahati headquarter of Border police just like in biometric device for quick verification of data.
