Guwahati to revive back its protest on Citizenship Bill with protester's march from Silkhpukhuri business central point, possibility looms to throw normal function of
the city out of gear as people are boiling with the issue.
AGP political party and Assam Youth Congress along with many
groups would like to carry out their demand on present government’s policy to
make inroad for Bangladeshi Hindu immigrant in their region. For protester's
groups think it as a threat to their rights and land occupation and future
conflict though BJP ruling party has assured of indigenous people’s right.
Silkpukhuri is a commercial area and often counteracts
disruption in daily operation due to protest march in the area and expects that
proposed plan to carry protest campaign from six mile area to soon materialize
though the issue of Citizenship Bill, 2016 is crucial.
