What went
wrong? The first question – nervousness, aggressiveness or anxiety that
preoccupied Hima Das in creating error before getting disqualified for stepping
out from her mark before the start signal but still there is nothing
disappointing for India as Dutee Chand clocked well to reach the top slot in 23
seconds to enter the final tomorrow.
Bahrain came
second after India to take the second slot. Air of disappointment from Hima uplifted when she managed to revive
the hope of her countrymen by clinching silver at 4X 400 meters mix relay race along
with Rajiv Arokia in 3:15:71 timing where Bahrain again stole the gold.
Whatever shocking and unexpected episode
Hima had created by dampening the spirit of crowd at home may be she needs to
focus more on how she is performing rather than what people expects. It can
only be the way for Hima to collect her composure to bring her focus towards
the goal and not gold to bring back her former class performance. Two silver at the stride is
not a bad performance in Hima's new entry in Asiad games.
