Recently Meghalaya was rocked with mass resignation report from
UDP Umsning circle due to its President Gilbert Nongrum’s resignation but
behind the intention is anti-party act is the cause that impelled him to
resign.
UDP MDC Donkupar Sumer asserts that the call of mass
resignation on the follow of party president resignation is false and revealed
that new body will form to drive in more people from other political parties as
it believes it is growing stronger. Gilbert Nongrum according to Sumer resigned
under the pressure of anti-party-activity allegation as he has failed to
clarify his stance.
