Women Empowered Land Nagaland Fails Fair Justice On Gender Equal Poll Contest

Several years battle when female contestants tried to make 33 percent reservation there was strong negative reaction from certain tribal groups of Nagaland community to which AIDWA (All India Democratic Women’s Association) stepped up to fight against their rights.

In contrary to few tribal groups’s opposition on women reservation AIDWA expressed complete distress on gender biased customary laws. There was intermix response on last December’s notification on 32 Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) to which women body AIDWA wants fair exchange of dialogue on its opposition. No doubt Nagaland women have influential role in all sectors including globalization activity be it business, sports or anything.
