Sangama added that influx is a temporary issue against the launch of railway project in Meghalaya which will resolve once the government orders for the implementation of rail network in the state. In regard to land acquisition issue, alignment, check post and other factors have been worked out where survey on setting rail network is on process according to Sangma but where influx matter is concerned as objected by various opposition groups it need to be worked out.

Before rail tracks are set the government aims to ensure influx safety measure before allowing railway function in the state though no matter center’s railway mission can become a game changer in Meghalaya’s tourism economy.
