Tolerant Assam Public Were All Smile On The Arrival Of Rs. 500 At ATMs



In a great relief where people of Assam live on minimal transaction below Rs. 2000 on daily basis were all smile to find four Rs. 500 notes in hands, thanking heaven and RBI for releasing it after November 8th demonetization declaration.


In this phase of complete anarchy on cashless phase due to government's unprepared calibrated ATMs with smaller new denomination notes and cash production, Assam and rest of Northeast appeared tolerant without major spark of violence.


Tourist of Assam and rest of Northeast were in bad shape with Indian government's sudden declaration of demonetization as a lash on black money holders to subside increasing growth of corruption in the country that is paralyzing the nerve of its system. To add smile on India's foreign tourists the government has issued Rs 5,000 per week exchange of foreign currency.


Since Rs. 1000 and Rs. 500 notes are made completely invalid from exchange and other transact points but still later currency will be validated on certain norms. Understanding the hard stance of public the government has shown flexibility on old Rs 500 notes usage and validated on its usage on certain points till 15th December like government schools for academic expenditure till Rs. 2000 per child, Central and state government institutes, pre-paid recharge of Rs 500 per top-up.



Moreover at consumer cooperative stores allows Rs 5,000 limit through Rs. 500. Electricity bill counters including water bill counters also allows old Rs. 500 cash payments. Highway four wheel commuters can smile till 15th December with benefits of not only suspended toll charges but also utilization of old Rs 500 notes at toll gates.
