North eastern region
(NER) has become an incumbent factor in national economic growth, where years of
negligence have created much hurdle for India’s major racial groups to jell
with these communities, often taken as backward groups.
Economically growing this fast paced country needs to
bridge for effective market growth, clearing of all differences. It is in late
realization, the University Grants Commission (UGC) has shown intensive
necessity to include history of North eastern region (NER) at degree and master
degree levels.
Dr. Mahendra Nath Pandey the Minister for Human Resource
Development at a Lok Sbha session introduced the importance and inclusion of
history, literature and culture of NER in education syllabus.
Introduce of new syllabus in higher level education has
been implemented for better cultural exchange between institution, universities
and NER for improved outlook towards north eastern Indian communities without
any bias impression.
Point is it is the best methodology to grow integrity and
healthy relationship between varied communities. NER freedom fighters studies
will be included in the curricula where the National Council for Education
Research and Training already processed the studies of life and culture of northeast region
in its text books.
