Kaziranga Park soon will be under the Scanner of ‘A’ quality Task Force

Special wildlife security measures will be implored soon by Centre to rescue flood battered animals and ensure speedy control over illegal activities triggered due to rain havoc from UNESCO Heritage site, Kaziranga Park with installation of  higher definition patrolling system, the  Rhino Protection Force.   


Immediate action was sanctioned by Centre in observation to increasing advantage upon the insecure animals of flood affected zone of Kaziranga. Toll of Rhino have intensified to 93 within span of 3 years highlighted by the Minister of State for Environment, Forest and Climate Change Anil Madhav Dave at a session in Rajya Sabha. Measure of Rhino Protection Force has been initiated to strengthen rhino protection in Kaziranga Tiger Reserve including fast recovery of scattered or stranded animals due to flood.

In observation to vulnerable position of flood affected animals and rise of poaching in Kaziranga, the Rhino Task Force had to submit current dilapidated status of the park's report  for the approval of Special Rhino Protection  Force at Kaziranga Tiger Reserve. 


According to Anil Madhav the report was approved by the Centre and sanctioned Special Rhino Protection  Force at Kaziranga Tiger Reserve. This speedy initiative by the Centre was made in observation  to growing international  interest in one horn Rhino and special flora and fauna of Kaziranga.  Today, Kaziranga is one of the top global tourist spots and threat of increasing poaching will directly impact on Assam tourism in harsh manner.
