World's Rare Orchids that Resembles to Northeast Breed


Orchid is a rare case in floral sector as it blooms less frequently and survives less due to climatic condition. Never speak about its awesome shapes that resembles animal and human forms.

One of the spectacular orchid species is Lady Slippers of Yellow and Purple shades that are preciously guarded in Great Britain. But in the world it is only Paphiopedilum rothschildianum breed, resembling to Sumazau dancer is credited as not only rare but a priceless gift of nature. As it requires 15 years to bloom.

Similar version of it Lost Lady's Slipper (Paphiopedilum fairrieanum) could be spotted in Assam near Mayanmar border this small sized structure plant. This genuine orchid species could fetch you an unbelievable amount of thousand pound. 


Way back in late 19th Century a British Indian army, first spied on the purple-streaked hood orchid resembling to a Dutch milkmaid's cap in Arunachal foothills. Today Lost Lady's Slipper is highly valued in Great Britain's Sander Orchid nursery.



 
The name Blue Vanda strongly fascinates any enthusiast orchid lover. Number of Vanda orchid species you will find. But the expensive ones are the blue and red ones due to its rare existence. In the vicinity of Northeast, Assam this exclusive Blue Vanda is found.

 

Animal shaped orchid is rare to find in Northeast India where Caleana, flying duck orchid of Australia is an unique case. But such terrestrial plant of flying bird could be traced in certain parts of orchid destination Meghalaya.


There are still unknown rare species of orchid are sealed in the bosom of virgin nature of Northeast, India whose worth are still not estimated. More dynamic initiatives from Northeast forest conservation are required to actually bring out the worth of exclusive natural resources of the region.
