It is not for economic purpose roads are introduced, but even for greater morning crowds like students for whom safety is a matter of concern to attend and return from school under high traffic challenge to which the students community of Assam appealed for safety to the State Transport Minister Parimal Suklyabaidya at UN Global Road Safety Week event.

This view of safe roads near schools was put forwarded by a strong pack of 400 students who signed a memorandum for its implementation. But this effort was made by the students with the strong support of the Consumer Legal protection Forum, Assam (CLPF), Consumer Voice, New Delhi and Seuj Asom.
