Configuring government’s system of escalating price hike in all essential commodities, the All Assam Student’s Union and All Kamrup Metro District Student’s Union staged protest against the APDCL’s implementation of 50 paisa additional electricity charge on per unit from the consumers.
People are already bearing the burn of gas cylinder price hike to one thousand plus, causing big impediment in cooking style at home and parties. Majority who do not have government job and jobless are receiving severe stress from government’s decision on price hike on essential commodity.
