The Bureau of Investigation Economic Offences (BIEO) released 6415 quintals capsized rice of PD (Public Distribution System) in Upper Assam base like Tinsukia and Dibrugarh districts.
On insist of public complain BIEO made this investigation and recovered 4,450 quintals of (PDS) rice, stored illegally at M/S Laruah Samabai Samiti Ltd) whereas under the same organization captured 1,965 quintals of rice from Tinsukia.
