Feeling the alarm of Corona third wave by Silchar district’s Medical College and Hospital of Assam bordering with Mizoram fears of spread as the neighboring state’s infected cases are rising to 1,200 per day.
Currently Silchar Medical has 100 ICU beds and likely to add 80 more by this month. For oxygen supplement Silchar Medical is equipped with 20000 liters capacity two plants and to get another 20,000 liters soon. Depending on the third wave prevalence the Silchar medical has to strain further for preparedness in the future.
