In the attempt to end the myth about rhino horn due to which poaching of the one horn peaceful animal has taken place drastically the Assam government to destroy 2,479 recovered horns out of 2,623 publicly.
Government to preserve eighty pieces as a mark of heritage for academic purposes while fifty horns will be reserved for government court cases.
