The Assam and Mizoram of Northeast states collaborated to deploy neutral force to pacify the disturbed border area after a high level session convoked by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
In this crucial decision hour the DGPs of Assam and Mizoram also came to shed light on to the matter to control the situation in peaceful manner. Deploy of neutral forces on the border came after an agreement was signed by the additional Secretary of Home Ministry.
Team of CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) headed by a senior officer will control the conflicted Lailapur area at National Highway 306.
