Recently a burst of heavy downpour is entangling many lives at stake as Guwahati metro is surrounded by hills where due to deforestation the water from higher area gushes up the drains and water outlet making life miserable for low lying area.
Development and massive erect of infrastructures have
overshadowed the beauty of green hillock landscape beauty of Guwahati metro
where people cannot relish the moment of heavy downpour in high mercury summer
season due to water logging issue.
