In the next financial year 2022 the government is planning to go green drive solution with plan of launching (FFV) Flexible Fuel Vehicles.
Indian auto companies might be asked to design multiple fuel bearing flex vehicles for both commercial and passenger purposes by the third quarter of FY22. Required changes to the vehicle under the specification of engine configuration flex fuel purpose will be made.
Advantage of FFV engineered vehicles is to flex out option for various fuel like gasoline and doped petrol (consisting of ethanol blends in various level) including unblended fuel. Implementation of FFV will change vehicle’s character and technology.
