Kaziranga National Park Encounters Biggest Loss In Decades With 15 Rhinos Dead And 200 Rest Animals!

The total figure of animal deaths in all over Assam wildlife regions is unaccountable as flood water has not receded completely where alone Kaziranga at present holds 200 plus animals’ death on estimation figure but real toll of death will be surfaced once the Monsoon flood is over.


Assam is worst hit flood region on national level in this year according to flood survey officials in terms of escalation of property damage where standing second to Bihar on loss of lives. Bhutan dam water release could impact heavier as Assam State Disaster (ASDMA) is yet to derive the rate of loss and predicts the situation of flood from swelling rivers may intensify if rain in lower Assam continues. Rest of Assam is overcoming from the flood phase but wildlife death report escalates.
