Personalities and organizations from various spectra have filled in at Assam Chief Minister’s office to shower their humanitarian act by contributing relief fund in their own generous way. The highest contribution was made by the MD of the Assam Fisheries Development Corporation with provision of Rs. 10 Lakh,
Chairman of the Duliajan Numaligarh LTD and the Chairman of DNLP Rupam Goswami also accounted to be the highest provider with contribution of Rs. 10 lakh, Prerana IAS Officers’ Wives’ Association made a hearty attempt of Rs. 5 Lakh arrangement. Sonowal Kachari Autonomous Council contributed Rs 2 Lakh.
The Assam Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Service Association and MLA Ranjon Pegu offered each Rs.1 lakh. Highest financial contributor of flood relief to Assam’s CM fund are the micro rich tea communities in each offered multiple lakhs finance while next comes food industries group and institutes. There are also large scale of help from foreign extent also which won't be sufficient enough to list.
