Arunachal Pradesh Is Soon To Be declared As NE’s Only Zero Tolerance Mosquito Disease Region


Arunachal Pradesh is declared to be NE’s only near to zero tolerance malaria affected region with current figure running to only 100 cases in 2019 with zero figure in 2017, the government is in the pursuit to make the state as mosquito borne disease free by 2025.


During the three day National Vector Borne Disease Control Programme in Arunachal at Ziro, Lower Subansiri district revealed about building strategy to make the state futuristic mosquito disease free region since challenges from  Japanese Encephalitis has intensified with 82 total detected cases.
