In a state like Assam and Meghalaya people are more satisfied
and economically feels safe if every member is employed with proper salary
which contributes in running a state economically sound where Centre’s four
lane bridge communication from Assam to Meghalaya is a welcome approach for Northeast economic development.
Obviously Northeast economy will boom if India’s
central economic region like West Bengal is connected through Dhubri, Assam to Phulbari,
Meghalaya within twenty minutes reach, benefiting other Northeast states as well.
This 20 minutes shortest link of Northeast to reach further
central destinations within a short span will require a patient time of six
years before strategic socio-economic scenario comes into action with implementation
of four-lane bridge over Brahmaputra of 19.282 Km to cut in short 205.3 Km distances
between Assam and Meghalaya.
