Unbelievably Right!! But
the fact disclosed by the Arunachal Pradesh Police to be true when
recently Nirmal Rai a Nepali origin porter at
Indian army base was handed to the local security force with submission of proof
of being a spy for Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).
The Indian Army patrolling
from Anjaw district of the Arunachal Pradesh that is
China-India border was monitoring Nirmal’s suspicious activities who
is from Sadiya base of Tinsukia district.
On the submission of the Assam spy at Arunachal’s sensitive zone of army base the Director General of Police (DGP) S.B.K. Singh in charge highlighted that Nirmal was found guilty in sharing certain sensitive materials to Dubai based ISI agent with whom he had worked earlier.
Nirmal from Tinsukia was
appointed as an employee of Indian Army as a porter of two destinations like
Kibithu and Dichu posts that is positioned along the Line of Actual Control
(LAC).
The ISI agent whom Nirmal
met for the first time was at a burger shop in Dubai where he was employed from
2016-18 before moving to Kibithu army camp. Nirmal was handed over to the local
police under the allegation of Official Secrets Act, Section 120B of
the IPC for the breach of privacy for storing and sharing confidential
materials like army unit’s weapon updates, infrastructure and layout through
his smart phone.
