Indian airport authority has left no stones unturned to give a new edge to Assam’s international airbase but for its further enhancement and to meet the parameters for full swing international flight operation even its remote surrounding has been focused for its development.
To meet passengers requirement to help them shuttle off and on from the airport to their destinations without much fuss, the AAI (Airport Authority of India) along with United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) have come out with a plan to develop its vicinity that is comprised of many rural areas.
Under this mission to develop the village domain communities AAI and UNDP have combined to undertake major challenge in upgrading respective locality’s hygiene, education, health and infrastructure development to control vulnerability. So that air passengers can make easiest and safe communication through various rural areas connecting Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport.
