Tourist Banned Areas Of Northeast Observe A New Uplift With Centre’s New Approach

Regime of (PAP) Protected Area Permit law that restrained easy inflow of foreign tourists in many parts of Northeast states for six decades will be flexed out by the India Government to intensify tourism and employment opportunities including global business networking.

But still foreign tourists from places like China, Afghanistan and Pakistan are debarred from the zones like Nagaland, Manipur and Mizoram. This new flexible PAP plan by the centre has been laid out for five years on new term basis to observe its outcome by Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), depending on its growth and revenue after its implementation.
