ONGC Sets Out Rs 5,000 Crore Mega Venture With Rajasthan



ONGC in the attempt to expand its horizon in the far eastern regions of India has planned to invest mega fertilizer plant of about Rs 5,000 crore in North Tripura in partnership with a Rajasthan based company known as Chambal Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd.


Already works are going on vigorously with drill of 223 wells by the state-owned ONGC along with more gas exploration for enhancement of power generation and positioning of a fertilizer plant.


According to Oil and Natural Gas Corp’s Executive Director S.C. Soni in account to last years’ three drilling rigs progress it has been more intensified presently where out of seven about four are obtained by the company. To hype the drilling process the ONGC management has sanctioned further Rs. 3,104 crore in this fertilizer project.
