Assam has witnessed the popular annual cultural activity the
beach festival or Namanni Brahmaputra from past few years but never this
five-day daylong vibrant event took to such an escalating peak, connecting
affluent personalities from all parts of the world where this time India’s
President Pranab Mukherjee and world’s top spiritual leader Dalai Lama to
grace the auspicious moment on 31st April.
For the first time in Assam such a grand cultural event of
all tribes the president of India did the grace to mark the opening of India's
largest river festival the Namanni Brahmaputra where people of Bihar
intensifies the river bank crowd due to their Chatt Pooja ritual that collides
at this time.
