It is a prestigious honor for Arunachal Pradesh to clinch Kayakalp Award
when there are tough national competitors where on 15th Feb, Wednesday the
Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare did the grace of conferring the
title to its District Hospital Tawang and Community Health Centre (FRU) Ruksin
in New Delhi.
This award ceremony which was conducted at Swarn Jayanti Auditorium of Lady
Hardinge Medical College in New Delhi entitled the award to Arunachal
government health unit on the ground of quality assurance in maintaining
standard code of conduct, hygiene services, sterilization methodology including
proper observation of bio-waste management program.
District Hospital Tawang and Community Health Centre of Arunachal stays
outstanding in outsourcing other services apart from its domain where state district
and general hospitals level winners bestowed with prize of Rs 50 lakhs where
CHCs awarded with Rs 15 lakhs. This award has come as a major boost to
government hospitals to stay ahead of private hospitals on procuring standard
infrastructure and quality treatment.
