In the swift move to ensure that the women of
Mizoram are secured in and outside the state, Government backed; Universal
Women Helpline scheme was launched at the capital Aizawl.
According to PC Lalthanliana, Mizoram Social
Welfare Minister there are growing incidents of crime on the women of its community,
National Mission for Empowerment of Women scheme comes as an added support in
the wake to hype measure to control crime on them. To ensure safe working
environment and living for Mizoram women.
