BJP To Boost Assam’s Tea Sector For Greater Revenue

Tea is the prime source of Assam’s revenue where there are about 1000 tea gardens with tea planters ranging from 1.5 Lakh to 2 Lakhwith contribution of half of India’s tea production the BJP government has decided to strengthen this sector with empower of further rules to enhance sales in collaboration with tea owners.

Centre and state both to come up with laws to achieve effective management in tea industry as there certain hurdles for greater productivity though the competition is high according to Tea community leader Bhargirath Karan.

Unique Essence Of Basistha Dev Sarma Continue To Lure After Demise

Father figure Basistha Dev Sarma the Xtradhikar of Barpeta continue to lure people due to his unique essence that he had encrypted through his works to edge the Assamese culture and motivating people to enliven the spiritual path of Guru Srimanta Sankardev.

A big void created in the people of Assam due to the demise of the ardent devotee of Guru Srimanta Sankardev as he was an enigmatic force in driving people from all parts of Assam to enrich the Assamese culture as set by his Gurujana.

Born in 1938 Burha Xatriya, Basistha was considered as one of the pillars of Xatriya culture as set by Guru Srimanta Sankardev who since 1965 was performing live holigeet, naokel geet, nam kirtan, ghosa and borgeet in all media channel.

Xtradhikar, Basistha could have continued if not for his prolonged illness due to which he was admitted in ICU in Guwahati Medical College Hospital but gave away his breath at 4.46 pm on 22th Saturday on October, bringing a spell of darkness on the eve of light ‘Diwali.’ Nature in the form Cyclone Sitrang, seem to have known about the great fatality, and cloud in Assam to weep on the demise of the great soul Xtradhikar, Basistha.

State of honor marked in Xtra tradition the funeral of Xtradhikar, Basistha was processed by the Assam government where thousands of people from all parts of the state poured in to have his last glimpse.

People were miserably left grounded by water on the start of Diwali it seemed before crackers could burst the rain of cyclonic storm Sitrang played on the joyful mood of the people, leaving them marooned in water and darkness without electricity.

Rukminigaon of Dispur area was the worst to be affected as the water was not released till the day end forcing people to stay in without power. Could there be anything worse than human made paralysis to the lives of hundreds in the area of Rukminigaon. What better a government could become taking the curses of people on Diwali?

Manipur’s much expected win from international champ Saikhom Mirabai Chanu came true as the weight lifter displayed her talent with a finish in gold at 36th National Games in Gandhinagar, Gujarat at 49 kg challenge.

Tally of medals for Manipur in weightlifting is two with inclusive of Kh Sangita Chanu’s silver medal apart from Mira Bai’s final settle in gold.

Mirabai stunned her fans with effortless display of 84 kg in snatch and 107 kg lift at clean and jerk performance which assures brighter spot in international event as her power is doubling then what she earlier delieverd.
