Now tuberculosis could be detected easily and cured without further delay this patented skin patch medication was invented by NIPER (the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research) under the Assam Science Technology and Enviornment Council (ASTEC), Government of Assam.
The skin patch works out on the affected tuberculosis patient
for18 days through external application in the body by applying a drug that
contains waterproof backing membrane in one end.
Since Assam has high rate tuberculosis affected people, NIPER team headed by Tushar K Malakar, Vishal S Chaudhuri and Dr Suhbham Banerjee have found the easiest and secure solution to this disease that caused large number fatality rate in the state due lack of proper treatment.
