Kanpur and Kharagpur top IIT
destinations have recognized potential caliber of Arunachal Pradesh based
genius Pammir Roy who adapted extensive courses’ knowledge during the tenure of
engineering education in NERIST and was quite influential for which for the
first time in India a Domain Certificate In Artificial Intelligence (AI) was
awarded to him.
This second year Mechanical
Engineering student from NERIST stood top in two courses in his last exam. On
27th July Pammir Roy was awarded with certificate and award at SPOC workshop
at Kahargpur IIT. Pammir’s extensive
ability to adapt different engineering courses’ knowledge apart from his
mechanical regular course had fetched attraction with elite faculties of
renowned IIT institutes where one is Kanpur NPTEL which invited him to share
his experience and influence to the students at its platform.
In this run even the NPTEL
National Coordinator, Satyaki Roy had reckoned Pammir’s dynamism to understand
various spectra of engineering knowledge and relate with hall of different background
students. It is indeed a biggest achievement for the entire Northeast to shine
in such challenging domain and making Arunachal Pradesh popular as a land of
intellectual apart from being reckoned for its landscape beauty.
